The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored LA.LAKERS's protests and gave Raulo Vallujera a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes LA.LAKERS got a freekick which was hit by Raulo Vallujera. Isidor Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esdras Binas in the 38th minute of the match. If Cristofor Moraina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Perez Alcubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. PERU's supporters rose to their feet, but Perez Alcubilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Otsando Guismonde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otsando Guismonde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guifre Villajane, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Otsando Guismonde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guifre Villajane in the 46th minute of the match.

In the 56th match minute, LA.LAKERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asteri Olmedilla to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Guifre Villajane managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otsando Guismonde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, LA.LAKERS's goalkeeper Otsando Guismonde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guifre Villajane. Otsando Guismonde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guifre Villajane in the 69th minute. Guifre Villajane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Esdras Binas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LA.LAKERS's Otsando Guismonde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perez Alcubilla in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of LA.LAKERS booed when PERU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertran Lemos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
