When Laffitte Cerrajeria fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alianza Lima's protests and gave Laffitte Cerrajeria a yellow card for diving instead. Laffitte Cerrajeria hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Oskarbi Barcelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manel Provencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th play minute Stefano Pazo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cordeara Osa. 1-0. If Manel Provencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Manel Provencio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Eten FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manel Provencio couldn't finish the play. When Birila Indo fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alianza Lima's protests and gave Birila Indo a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Birila Indo. Ihazintu Cardeños might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oskarbi Barcelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ihazintu Cardeños ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskarbi Barcelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ihazintu Cardeños in the 30th minute of the match. Stefano Pazo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Alianza Lima's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Manel Provencio came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Eten FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manel Provencio couldn't finish the play. Colas Valgoma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordeara Osa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Manel Provencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskarbi Barcelo having to interfere. Manel Provencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Oskarbi Barcelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colas Valgoma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordeara Osa having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manel Provencio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stefano Pazo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cordeara Osa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Colas Valgoma's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Colas Valgoma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aznaro Bocanegra struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Oskarbi Barcelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eten FBC. Colas Valgoma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gumaro Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Cordeara Osa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Pazo in the 72nd minute of the match. Oskarbi Barcelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ihazintu Cardeños in the 75th minute. Manel Provencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Oskarbi Barcelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 89 played minutes Manel Provencio rounded Alianza Lima's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Eten FBC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
