Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Vatahual's Firmin Villares started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Romelio Victorica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Salas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xosepe Esnarriaga in the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Frutos Monelo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vatahual's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joruroccata the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Vatahual was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frutos Monelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Firmin Villares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Echague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vatahual's Gavino Salas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romelio Victorica in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Romelio Victorica left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joruroccata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Joruroccata's Romelio Victorica in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vatahual's goalie prevented a goal. Romelio Victorica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Salas having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Firmin Villares took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fabian Echague to make any attempt to save it. Marcelino Velosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Velosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Fabian Echague when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xosepe Esnarriaga in the 33rd minute of play forced Vatahual's goalkeeper Gavino Salas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcelino Velosa came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Vatahual fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Velosa couldn't finish the play. Romelio Victorica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gavino Salas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xosepe Esnarriaga struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Gavino Salas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joruroccata. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xosepe Esnarriaga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Joruroccata's Ixidor Quiroz got a free kick in the 51st minute. Gavino Salas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xosepe Esnarriaga in the 53rd minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Vatahual was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuriko Jaurigui to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes in the game Eustaquio Beamud got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Romelio Victorica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Salas having to interfere. Fabian Echague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Velosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, Firmin Villares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabian Echague was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firmin Villares in the 78th minute of play forced Joruroccata's goalkeeper Fabian Echague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Xosepe Esnarriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joruroccata's supporters rose to their feet, but Xosepe Esnarriaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavino Salas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frutos Monelo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Vatahual's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepe Esnarriaga came free, but Gavino Salas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gavino Salas made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Romelio Victorica sent off a good shot on target. Marcelino Velosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vatahual had won after a very even match.
