Dolcet Lira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Guipuzkoa Manzanal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Quique Lezcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guipuzkoa Manzanal made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Dolcet Lira sent off a good shot on target. Quique Lezcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Bustelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Guipuzkoa Manzanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Medardo Perma ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marques Bayas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 32nd match minute, Cienciano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillem Casares to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Tectilla's Leon Bustelo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guipuzkoa Manzanal. Guipuzkoa Manzanal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 39th minute, Patrido Payva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marques Bayas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 46th minute, Tectilla's Leon Bustelo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.
Venceslao Trasmiera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guipuzkoa Manzanal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. When Leon Bustelo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Tectilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Bustelo couldn't finish the play. Marques Bayas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Medardo Perma in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Tectilla's goalkeeper Marques Bayas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quique Lezcano. After a defensive mix-up in Cienciano FC's zone, Leon Bustelo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guipuzkoa Manzanal came out of the goal and Leon Bustelo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quique Lezcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Cienciano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Venceslao Trasmiera came free, but Guipuzkoa Manzanal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Tectilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venceslao Trasmiera to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Leon Bustelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tectilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Bustelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guipuzkoa Manzanal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Bustelo in the 76th minute of play forced Cienciano FC's goalkeeper Guipuzkoa Manzanal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venceslao Trasmiera struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Guipuzkoa Manzanal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tectilla. When Oihan Mogoruza fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienciano FC's protests and gave Oihan Mogoruza a yellow card for diving instead. Venceslao Trasmiera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Guipuzkoa Manzanal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Venceslao Trasmiera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guipuzkoa Manzanal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venceslao Trasmiera struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Guipuzkoa Manzanal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tectilla.
