After having played for 11 minutes, Renaldo Ceceil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IDIOTASDEMRDTRES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renaldo Ceceil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Incendio Navia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ceandro Basanta came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the leon de huanuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceandro Basanta couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Ceandro Basanta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Germano Iracheta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Piñan in the 45th minute of play. Germano Iracheta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceandro Basanta in the 47th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceandro Basanta to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Dario Gamiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but leon de huanuco's Lucio Rioseras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Incendio Navia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Piñan got free with Germano Iracheta in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germano Iracheta came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by leon de huanuco's Ceandro Basanta. But to his dismay, Ceandro Basanta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ceandro Basanta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Iracheta having to interfere. Germano Iracheta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceandro Basanta went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Paulo Cardona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, leon de huanuco's Olentzaro Chaves got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Incendio Navia managed to get in a good position for a shot. IDIOTASDEMRDTRES's supporters rose to their feet, but Incendio Navia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Rioseras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Efrain Piñan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Germano Iracheta made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Efrain Piñan managed to get in a good position for a shot. leon de huanuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Piñan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Germano Iracheta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Efrain Piñan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ceandro Basanta, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Germano Iracheta was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. leon de huanuco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
