The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gutierrre Loyola hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute of the match Quinten Novajas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Rulan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 8th minute of the match Sanson Canales shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Mateos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Millrick Orense struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Conrado Mateos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concejo FC. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Concejo FC's goalkeeper Angel Rulan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caracakingo Monteverde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Conrado Mateos having to make a save. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Querpon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Camerino Masses was slow to take the kick. During this time Concejo FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Concejo FC's corner Camerino Masses fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Conrado Mateos quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Querpon getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cristiano Elguero hit a great ball. Cristiano Elguero came free in the 42nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Angel Rulan, but to the joy of Concejo FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Caracakingo Monteverde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Mateos was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The supporters of Concejo FC booed when Querpon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 95th minute, Orixe Latonero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Querpon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Querpon fans cheered their team off the field, for while Concejo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
