After having played for 10 minutes, Gudesteo Uribe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caillagua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gudesteo Uribe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oton Turrilla came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Caillagua's Gudesteo Uribe. But to his dismay, Gudesteo Uribe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Poncio Raña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rito Frago, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ranhuas's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Ayon came free, but Oton Turrilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ranhuas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Harri Roig hit a great ball. The supporters of Ranhuas booed when Caillagua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Precioso Landaluce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Ranhuas's Romildo Peon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 39th minute Gudesteo Uribe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oton Turrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes, Harri Roig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranhuas and the Caillagua players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harri Roig hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Caillagua's Poncio Raña got control of the ball when Policarpio Esquivias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Policarpio Esquivias dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Poncio Raña, 1-1. After 46 played minutes Ranhuas got a freekick which was hit by Rito Frago. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rito Frago to make the kick off. Policarpio Esquivias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oton Turrilla made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Gudesteo Uribe sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute Eduardo Ayon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oton Turrilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caillagua's Poncio Raña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rito Frago in the 61st minute of play. Eduardo Ayon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gudesteo Uribe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Oton Turrilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poncio Raña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rito Frago in the 70th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ranhuas's zone, Gudesteo Uribe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oton Turrilla came out of the goal and Gudesteo Uribe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Rito Frago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Poncio Raña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 79 minutes, Gudesteo Uribe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Ayon in the 84th minute of play forced Ranhuas's goalkeeper Oton Turrilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gudesteo Uribe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Oton Turrilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ranhuas's Oton Turrilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Ranhuas from getting a goal against them. Gudesteo Uribe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oton Turrilla having to interfere.
