Perpinya Elias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modesto Boladeras in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Kemen Quemada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perpinya Elias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute, Kemen Quemada made a precise shot to the right of Perpinya Elias. Somos Marshall FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Somos Marshall FC's Perpinya Elias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Boladeras in the 22nd minute of play. Laureano Pintor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Salbatore Silguero made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Barcelona's zone, Artemio Trespuentes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salbatore Silguero came out of the goal and Artemio Trespuentes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Trespuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salbatore Silguero having to interfere. Laureano Pintor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Salbatore Silguero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, F.C.Barcelona's Vladimiro Soliz got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 36 minutes of play, Somos Marshall FC's Nofre Lecubarri made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salbatore Silguero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Perpinya Elias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modesto Boladeras in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Somos Marshall FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Flor came free, but Perpinya Elias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Somos Marshall FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. F.C.Barcelona were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laureano Pintor was the one to do the kick off. If Kemen Quemada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Kemen Quemada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perpinya Elias was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Barcelona's zone, Frisco Aldaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salbatore Silguero came out of the goal and Frisco Aldaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nofre Lecubarri took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salbatore Silguero. Salbatore Silguero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 70th match minute, F.C.Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Casaponsa to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Laureano Pintor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salbatore Silguero was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximo Casaponsa got free with Perpinya Elias in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Somos Marshall FC's Galindo Ferrer got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ronaldinho Flor charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldinho Flor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artemio Trespuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salbatore Silguero having to interfere. Somos Marshall FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
