Iratze Zaldain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Fabian Vinas made a huge save. Todor Villalon had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Atarratze Blancas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pachaqui's Iratze Zaldain got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Quique Morquera rounded Urohuasi's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. When Angel Gilavert came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Urohuasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Gilavert couldn't finish the play. With 39 minutes on the clock, Olayo Ybañez commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iratze Zaldain was the one to do the kick off. In the 57thth minute of the game Iratze Zaldain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Urohuasi's Fabian Vinas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel Gilavert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Gilavert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Todor Villalon having to interfere.
