Zabal Rosabel started the match with the kick off. If Cebo Vilalta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Juan Pego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Polentzi Boreyta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. USMP-FIA's Oliveiro Licardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save USMP-FIA from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute, Ovando Maceira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Polentzi Boreyta managed to get in a good position for a shot. PIRAÑITAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Polentzi Boreyta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliveiro Licardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafin Vispieres hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Cebo Vilalta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Polentzi Boreyta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIRAÑITAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Polentzi Boreyta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 32 played minutes USMP-FIA got a freekick which was hit by Benja Penilla. If Juan Pego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PIRAÑITAS FC booed when USMP-FIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benja Penilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miliano Mendizabal fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PIRAÑITAS FC's protests and gave Miliano Mendizabal a yellow card for diving instead. Miliano Mendizabal hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Polentzi Boreyta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIRAÑITAS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Polentzi Boreyta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

PIRAÑITAS FC's Juan Pego got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belarmo Serbia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hodei Somorrostro having to interfere. Tipi Obarenes charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tipi Obarenes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cebo Vilalta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hodei Somorrostro having to interfere. Rami Recino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cebo Vilalta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Vispieres hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ovando Maceira kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Tipi Obarenes was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th minute, Tipi Obarenes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PIRAÑITAS FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of USMP-FIA for a fine match.
