The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermon Sayago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Panpili Rebellon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo San Pablo FC booed when Hucchar FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Endura Azuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hermon Sayago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panpili Rebellon in the 22nd minute of the match. Rutenio Briones hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hanot Guete came free, but Mel Maxenchs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo San Pablo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mel Maxenchs went to the wrong direction when Diego Larrechi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gai Montalban during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Deportivo San Pablo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gai Montalban to maneuver through the defense. Hanot Guete struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mel Maxenchs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hucchar FBC. Hanot Guete might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mel Maxenchs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hanot Guete ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th match minute, Hucchar FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artizar Bayona to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd match minute, Hucchar FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rutenio Briones to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Deportivo San Pablo FC's Llope Alzaga tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matro Labandera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermon Sayago having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hanot Guete made a kick off. A collision led to Deportivo San Pablo FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Llope Alzaga hit a great ball. Agostinho Vadillos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matro Labandera hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Hucchar FBC's Hanot Guete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mel Maxenchs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to Hucchar FBC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Artizar Bayona hit a great ball. Hucchar FBC's Hanot Guete got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hanot Guete in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mel Maxenchs saved Deportivo San Pablo FC from getting behind. When Agostinho Vadillos came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hucchar FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho Vadillos couldn't finish the play. Matro Labandera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agostinho Vadillos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mel Maxenchs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deportivo San Pablo FC's Mel Maxenchs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artizar Bayona in the 91st minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
