Chayo Antia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argoitz Lorza, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Sanchez Maoño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lluis Cereceda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. The supporters of Sihuarpo booed when Soliloquios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montay Yanguas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 42 minutes of play, Soliloquios FC's Lluis Cereceda made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chorche Placiencia was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Marques Plata came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Sihuarpo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marques Plata couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Montay Yanguas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sanchez Maoño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marques Plata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chayo Antia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Argoitz Lorza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Soliloquios FC's Chayo Antia got control of the ball when Marques Plata tried to sneak it across the goal line. Argoitz Lorza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chayo Antia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Argoitz Lorza in the 68th minute of play forced Soliloquios FC's goalkeeper Chayo Antia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chayo Antia was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Argoitz Lorza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Argoitz Lorza really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Chayo Antia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sihuarpo. A collision led to Sihuarpo getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Marques Plata hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute, Argoitz Lorza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
