Huancaroni's Edson Pascual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lando Trincado in the 20th minute of play. Shakperu's Natanael Tejerizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Shakperu from getting a goal against them. When Lando Trincado came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Shakperu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lando Trincado couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Omar Respaldiza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natanael Tejerizo. Shakperu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Respaldiza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shakperu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The supporters of Shakperu booed when Huancaroni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufio Valonga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Huancaroni's goal looked a bit too open when Lando Trincado came free, but Edson Pascual reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Shakperu's Lope Quetara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edson Pascual made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 48th minute Lando Trincado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson Pascual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lando Trincado was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prejun Monzonis in the 65th minute of play forced Shakperu's goalkeeper Natanael Tejerizo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edson Pascual was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Justino Aldeis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huancaroni's goalkeeper Edson Pascual, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lauaxeta Cismado got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alberino Prabes. Prejun Monzonis scored 3-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Tejerizo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lando Trincado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Shakperu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
