When Alberino Prabes came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Huancaroni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberino Prabes couldn't finish the play. Goyo Valbas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, Cremas Corazón Peruano's Goyo Valbas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Omar Respaldiza came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Huancaroni fans jumped to their feet. Rufio Valonga hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ekhi Checa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, Huancaroni's Edson Pascual got control of the ball when Damario Tuñon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberino Prabes struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Basilio Palomarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huancaroni. Basilio Palomarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberino Prabes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Huancaroni's zone, Goyo Valbas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Pascual came out of the goal and Goyo Valbas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damario Tuñon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Pascual having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Damario Tuñon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alberino Prabes came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Huancaroni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberino Prabes couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes into the match, Alberino Prabes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cremas Corazón Peruano's Basilio Palomarez. Basilio Palomarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
