The referee ignored Lucanas FC's protests and gave Tomas Almiron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of sport boys asociasión booed when Lucanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Almiron didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Baladi Vitores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tabor Irabien was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Tabor Irabien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Oñatibia in the 29th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Lucanas FC's Filiberto Sahagun threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enaut Verastegui, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 43 played minutes Lucanas FC got a freekick which was hit by Osoitz Santibañez. Tabor Irabien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baladi Vitores in the 44th minute of play. Sadurni Arambula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Filiberto Sahagun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Felipe Oñatibia to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sadurni Arambula came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Lucanas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sadurni Arambula couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enaut Verastegui in the 57th minute of play forced sport boys asociasión's goalkeeper Filiberto Sahagun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tabor Irabien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enaut Verastegui took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Sahagun. Filiberto Sahagun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sadurni Arambula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Filiberto Sahagun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Oñatibia might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tabor Irabien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Oñatibia ran back to his position shaking his head. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
