Victoro Valverde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guipuzkoa Hilari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacho Argos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Menendo Herreras in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Cerrudemos saved Sport Boys del Callao mgn from getting behind. Victoro Valverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Cerrudemos having to interfere. Menendo Herreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Denis Cerrudemos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Sport Boys del Callao mgn getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Fero Puertas hit a great ball. Victoro Valverde who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Denis Cerrudemos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Menendo Herreras to strike the kick off in the second half. Estebano Ondarra hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Victoro Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Cerrudemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guipuzkoa Hilari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacho Argos in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Zeruko Vilaprenyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Boys del Callao mgn's supporters rose to their feet, but Zeruko Vilaprenyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guipuzkoa Hilari breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guipuzkoa Hilari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeruko Vilaprenyo in the 64th minute. In the 79th minute Victoro Valverde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Cerrudemos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Menendo Herreras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Acalcane were the better team. Acalcane's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
