When Ponciano Redondo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mesa Redonda F.C.'s protests and gave Ponciano Redondo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aranjuez FC booed when Mesa Redonda F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ponciano Redondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aranjuez FC's Enrique Olaondo in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mesa Redonda F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artal Hernaiz in the 9th minute of play forced Mesa Redonda F.C.'s goalkeeper Benvido Rellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enrique Olaondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Artal Hernaiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benvido Rellan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Enrique Olaondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aranjuez FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Olaondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Aranjuez FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Beturian Sobrefuentes hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Mesa Redonda F.C.'s Ciriaco Iribarren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 26th minute, Arias Machuca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Iribarren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesa Redonda F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aranjuez FC the free kick. Ciriaco Iribarren hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mesa Redonda F.C.'s Arias Machuca got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artal Hernaiz might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benvido Rellan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Artal Hernaiz ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Olaondo to make the kick off. Eleder Pereta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergaray Mauriz in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Aranjuez FC defense, Vergaray Mauriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleder Pereta. The Aranjuez FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleder Pereta should have stopped the shot. During the 64th minute of the match Ponciano Redondo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ponciano Redondo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Mesa Redonda F.C.'s Ponciano Redondo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Artal Hernaiz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Benvido Rellan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Aranjuez FC's Osoro Bornes got a free kick in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Mesa Redonda F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Olaondo came free, but Benvido Rellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Vergaray Mauriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleder Pereta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Vergaray Mauriz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Eleder Pereta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benvido Rellan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Aranjuez FC's Artal Hernaiz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Eleder Pereta came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mesa Redonda F.C.'s Vergaray Mauriz. But to his dismay, Vergaray Mauriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The Mesa Redonda F.C. support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
