After 19 played minutes Quencha's Poz Cerecedo stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Vergaray Nuncibay stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Jallepina FC of the goal. Txartiko Hernani hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Jallepina FC's Seber Garros got a free kick in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Poz Cerecedo got free with Vergaray Nuncibay in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Zacarias Lombera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vergaray Nuncibay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Quencha's zone, Dolfos Monje stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikel Joli came out of the goal and Dolfos Monje tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dolfos Monje was the one to do the kick off. Dolfos Monje in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mikel Joli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jallepina FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luzaide Robredo was slow to take the kick. During this time Quencha's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Quencha's Gartxot Ballina to fire away a dangerous shot which Vergaray Nuncibay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Jallepina FC's Dolfos Monje made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mikel Joli was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, Quencha's Poz Cerecedo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vergaray Nuncibay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vergaray Nuncibay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poz Cerecedo in the 70th minute of the match. After 75 minutes, Leandro Armijo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jallepina FC and the Quencha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Jallepina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Armijo to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Dolfos Monje managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jallepina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dolfos Monje was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Quencha's zone, Leandro Armijo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikel Joli came out of the goal and Leandro Armijo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Baristo Severino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikel Joli made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Dolfos Monje sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Leandro Armijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Jallepina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Poz Cerecedo came free, but Vergaray Nuncibay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vergaray Nuncibay came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Quencha's Zacarias Lombera. But to his dismay, Zacarias Lombera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. 96 minutes into the game, Dolfos Monje was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jallepina FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quencha the free kick. Jallepina FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
