Godfredo Baroja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gudesteo Mandojana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bordat Chaniz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Hever Henao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los pibitos F.C. Bordat Chaniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hever Henao having to interfere. Ramiro Sorribes hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Godfredo Baroja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casomiro Mendi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Gudesteo Mandojana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Los pibitos F.C's Huly Arriete in the 43rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Hever Henao was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Egidos FC through an amazing save. Hever Henao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huly Arriete, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casomiro Mendi made a kick off. The supporters of Los pibitos F.C booed when Egidos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casomiro Mendi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
