Galoer Magaña could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Tabor Pineros made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as uni fc's Vigil Sobrino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tabor Pineros. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Balrog's Antonio Minayo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Galoer Magaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Tabor Pineros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Balrog getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Errolan Alaña hit a great ball. 20 minutes in the game, Galoer Magaña dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. A collision led to uni fc getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tiburcio Merino hit a great ball. Sindo Baptista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xuan Herias. uni fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 31st minute Vigil Sobrino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tabor Pineros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tabor Pineros was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Galoer Magaña capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Galoer Magaña really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After having played for 36 minutes, Vigil Sobrino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. uni fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vigil Sobrino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes uni fc got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Merino. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Foro Velaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balrog's supporters rose to their feet, but Foro Velaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xuan Herias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xuan Herias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Foro Velaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Christobal Camacho might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xuan Herias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christobal Camacho ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the game, Foro Velaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Xuan Herias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vigil Sobrino to make the kick off. Balrog's Gamus Munozcano suffered a concussion in the 51st minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Nofre Muelas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of uni fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Balrog:s goal. Xuan Herias had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Sindo Baptista's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Xuan Herias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sindo Baptista went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 63rd match minute, uni fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vigil Sobrino to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Sindo Baptista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xuan Herias skillfully saved the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Balrog's Foro Velaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xuan Herias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. A collision led to Balrog getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Foro Velaz hit a great ball. In the 75th play minute Foro Velaz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Xuan Herias. 2-4. Christobal Camacho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Foro Velaz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A hard shot 81 in the game by Foro Velaz from a close distance when the talented Xuan Herias managed to make a qualified save. uni fc's players were relieved. Xuan Herias made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Foro Velaz sent off a good shot on target. Foro Velaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Xuan Herias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tabor Pineros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Galoer Magaña's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 89th match minute, Balrog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errolan Alaña to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Balrog's zone, Galoer Magaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tabor Pineros came out of the goal and Galoer Magaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zuberoa Mantecon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tabor Pineros having to interfere. Foro Velaz struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Xuan Herias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balrog. A collision led to uni fc getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Zuberoa Mantecon hit a great ball. The Balrog players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
