A collision led to Sencie FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Perico Lando hit a great ball. Florentino Cabezuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Gilabert Rendueles made a huge save. In the 14th match minute, Bocanegra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crispo Cuello to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Romulo Gabirondo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cresencio Barreras was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Nesto Alcubierre's late challenge caught a Sencie FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nesto Alcubierre helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sencie FC booed when Bocanegra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesto Alcubierre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Francisco Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cresencio Barreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilabert Rendueles made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Xian Basozabal sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Reigada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilabert Rendueles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Reigada in the 23rd minute of the match. If Xian Basozabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilabert Rendueles came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bocanegra's Xian Basozabal. But to his dismay, Xian Basozabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eugenio Reigada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gilabert Rendueles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugenio Reigada was the one to do the kick off. Xian Basozabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Rendueles having to interfere. If Xian Basozabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Mino in the 67th minute of play forced Bocanegra's goalkeeper Cresencio Barreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Iaki Lombera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilabert Rendueles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Reigada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Eugenio Reigada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilabert Rendueles. Sencie FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugenio Reigada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Reigada in the 82nd minute of play forced Sencie FC's goalkeeper Gilabert Rendueles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xian Basozabal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Lon Graciosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentino Cabezuela hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bocanegra's zone, Francisco Mino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cresencio Barreras came out of the goal and Francisco Mino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Calisto Pro came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sencie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calisto Pro couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Bocanegra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
