Real Piura's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xamin Goztros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacorro Quiroga in the 22nd minute of play forced Orcopampa's goalkeeper Batista Presilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pacorro Quiroga struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Batista Presilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Piura. In the 38th minute, Pacorro Quiroga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Batista Presilla. The goal made the score 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natal Oribe during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Natal Oribe hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Pacorro Quiroga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

A collision led to Real Piura getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Inigo Varela hit a great ball. Pacorro Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Batista Presilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Batista Presilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacorro Quiroga in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Orcopampa got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Colmenero. In the 91st minute of the match Jayvier Tofino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batista Presilla skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Piura's Ourente Mañaria got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Real Piura lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
