Cris Bojorquez kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, Pallihuana's Domingos Cobian got control of the ball when Esdras Ampuero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingos Cobian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esdras Ampuero in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pallihuana's zone, Esdras Ampuero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Cobian came out of the goal and Esdras Ampuero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Esdras Ampuero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Asturias to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Artizar Yngles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Gentza Barajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SLIM F.C's Esdras Ampuero got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Segundo Asturias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cruz Cariga. The goal made the score 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
