The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Labarrita got free with Prejun Morejon in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5 minutes into the game, Marcelo Labarrita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Prejun Morejon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Correduria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lopes Carral, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Knight's Virgilio Gadano got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Labarrita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Prejun Morejon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelo Labarrita scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prejun Morejon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Labarrita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Prejun Morejon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prejun Morejon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for chtello! Prejun Morejon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demesio Sobre in the 46th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Demesio Sobre made a kick off. chtello's Prejun Morejon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evangelista Prellezo in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Demesio Sobre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Demesio Sobre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Prejun Morejon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Marcelo Labarrita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prejun Morejon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Gadano in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Demesio Sobre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prejun Morejon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prejun Morejon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demesio Sobre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Labarrita couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Knight fully deserved thier win.
