Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tancredo Garandia ran back to his position shaking his head. Tancredo Garandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gines Reganado having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Pancho Mogrovejo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universitario de Deportes and the Jherar1992FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Universitario de Deportes's Pancho Mogrovejo got a free kick in the 6th minute. Gines Reganado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Tene in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Guillen Confercin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jherar1992FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universitario de Deportes the free kick. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jherar1992FC! In the 29th minute, Fabricio Tene left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jherar1992FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Petrigai Pañeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caradaro Bascones in the 40th minute of the match. Antonio Cariga hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Tancredo Garandia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gines Reganado having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Caradaro Bascones was the one to do the kick off. Petrigai Pañeda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caradaro Bascones, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Jherar1992FC's Petrigai Pañeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Sampayo in the 52nd minute of play. When Fabricio Tene, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gines Reganado was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tancredo Garandia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the game, Heriberto Sampayo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Petrigai Pañeda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Universitario de Deportes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Jherar1992FC for a fine match.
