After a defensive mix-up in Chucupalla's zone, Albano Ciencabrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rexino Pastor came out of the goal and Albano Ciencabrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Ciencabrero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rexino Pastor having to make a save. After 18 played minutes Urocapillo got a freekick which was hit by Birila Macilla. Xove Cerezal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Aniel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Albano Ciencabrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rexino Pastor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Urocapillo got a freekick which was hit by Lucila Brancovi. Hats Zamanillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xove Cerezal having to interfere. Xove Cerezal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Policarpio Arzube, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Rafael Armenteros made a great header on Chucupalla's corner, it was just that Urocapillo's Xove Cerezal managed to reach the ball for a save. After the first half Chucupalla were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Urocapillo's Xove Cerezal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Policarpio Arzube in the 66th minute of play. Hats Zamanillos short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Xove Cerezal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hats Zamanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xove Cerezal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Policarpio Arzube in the 83rd minute of the match. Xove Cerezal came out of the goal and Hats Zamanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Policarpio Arzube struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Xove Cerezal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chucupalla.
