Millan Ezquierdo's late challenge caught a Las Locas de la UCV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Millan Ezquierdo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Pumachuco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Millan Ezquierdo to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Hornos kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Xepe Zuñiga hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Xepe Zuñiga got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Las Locas de la UCV. Cristo Viz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Zuñiga in the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xepe Zuñiga in the 21st minute of play forced Las Locas de la UCV's goalkeeper Cristo Viz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Pumachuco's Fernado Afonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Viz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ekain Severino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolfos Rodezno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Santo Anguciana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ekain Severino. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 31st minute, Leandro Hornos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Viz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernado Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Xepe Zuñiga came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pumachuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xepe Zuñiga couldn't finish the play. Cristo Viz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xepe Zuñiga in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Las Locas de la UCV's goal looked a bit too open when Fernado Afonso came free, but Cristo Viz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pumachuco's Ekain Severino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Pumachuco from getting a goal against them. Cristo Viz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernado Afonso in the 45th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 46th minute when Nesto Conchas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Geraldo Gainzarain hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ekain Severino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nesto Conchas in the 53rd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Pumachuco's goal looked a bit too open when Modestio Castelao came free, but Ekain Severino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maule Lazo scored 3-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristo Viz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nesto Conchas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Viz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernado Afonso in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Pumachuco's goal looked a bit too open when Nesto Conchas came free, but Ekain Severino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Las Locas de la UCV's Cristo Viz got control of the ball when Xepe Zuñiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pumachuco's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
