Suero Oliveras kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Cheques's Xicu Millares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Cheques from getting a goal against them. Roger Viñuela took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Regis Urtiaga. Regis Urtiaga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Froylan Cortinas made a precise shot to the right of Regis Urtiaga. Mercenarios FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Regis Urtiaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Viñuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Froylan Cortinas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cheques's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercenarios FC the free kick. After 23 played minutes Cheques got a freekick which was hit by Froylan Cortinas. After 24 played minutes, Mercenarios FC's Nel Acenero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Xicu Millares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mercenarios FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Cheques's Manolo Lerdo got a free kick in the 28th minute. With 31 minutes on the clock, Suero Oliveras commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Regis Urtiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Viñuela in the 34th minute of play. Bibiano Moro's late challenge caught a Mercenarios FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bibiano Moro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Bibiano Moro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Regis Urtiaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervaso Senderos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kinsen Correduria to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mercenarios FC's Nel Acenero got a free kick in the 54th minute. Ubaldo Herenchun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Regis Urtiaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Herenchun came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Regis Urtiaga could save by the left post. Manolo Lerdo made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bibiano Moro however managed to control. Xicu Millares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordero Luey in the 63rd minute of play. Froylan Cortinas came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Regis Urtiaga could save by the left post. After 68 played minutes Mercenarios FC got a freekick which was hit by Tulasi Enteş. 69 minutes into the match, Cheques's Manolo Lerdo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 71 minutes into the match, Mercenarios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervaso Senderos came free, but Regis Urtiaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Regis Urtiaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froylan Cortinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Regis Urtiaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Herenchun in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Mercenarios FC defense, Ubaldo Herenchun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Regis Urtiaga. The Mercenarios FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Regis Urtiaga should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mercenarios FC's Tulasi Enteş got a free kick in the 85th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Cheques's Manolo Lerdo tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mercenarios FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Tulasi Enteş hit a great ball.
