Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ler Argüello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Miro Cortinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Marco Palacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erauso Brunet came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC's Ler Argüello. But to his dismay, Ler Argüello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 25th minute Miro Cortinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Palacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Guipuzkoa Saludes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marco Palacio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the AFC defense, Guipuzkoa Saludes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Palacio. The AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Palacio should have stopped the shot. If Guipuzkoa Saludes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marco Palacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guipuzkoa Saludes in the 30th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, 麦潮建 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SPORTING CRYSTAL and the AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SPORTING CRYSTAL getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. 麦潮建 hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miro Cortinez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Curcio Haro. Miro Cortinez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marco Palacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AFC's Curcio Haro got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the match, AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guipuzkoa Saludes came free, but Marco Palacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guipuzkoa Saludes in the 65th minute of play forced AFC's goalkeeper Marco Palacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Comparada to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Peñafiel might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Palacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adalberto Peñafiel ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Palacio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miro Cortinez went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Miro Cortinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguez Ontaneda's late challenge caught a AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodriguez Ontaneda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Rodriguez Ontaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SPORTING CRYSTAL's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
