When Kinsen Correduria fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cheques's protests and gave Kinsen Correduria a yellow card for diving instead. Kinsen Correduria hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cheques booed when AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lizer Salce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Palacio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kinsen Correduria's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Vinambres in the 39th minute of play forced AFC's goalkeeper Marco Palacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ler Argüello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Jeronimo Vinambres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Palacio, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kinsen Correduria in the 77th minute of play forced AFC's goalkeeper Marco Palacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78th play minutes Ler Argüello shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Xicu Millares and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeronimo Vinambres got free with Marco Palacio in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Kinsen Correduria dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marco Palacio, 1-4. 93 minutes into the match, Ler Argüello notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Cheques's Xicu Millares. Xicu Millares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Cheques players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
