A collision led to Cumi getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bernard Calderero hit a great ball. Alvaro Setien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mouricio Ibarlucea in the 8th minute of the match. Burutzagi Cia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Calderero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Hunfredo Eliseo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Burutzagi Cia came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Cumi's Velasco Frenes. But to his dismay, Velasco Frenes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza lima's zone, Velasco Frenes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Burutzagi Cia came out of the goal and Velasco Frenes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Alianza lima defense, Bernard Calderero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Burutzagi Cia. The Alianza lima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Burutzagi Cia should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Alvaro Setien successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ortzi Pedraja charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ortzi Pedraja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ortzi Pedraja kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Ortzi Pedraja got his second yellow card in the match during the 38th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 42 minutes into the game, Mark Langarica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Burutzagi Cia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omar Sedan made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Cumi's Maule Muñoyerro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Burutzagi Cia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maule Muñoyerro in the 56th minute of play forced Alianza lima's goalkeeper Burutzagi Cia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velasco Frenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Burutzagi Cia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iztal Soliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Setien having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Velasco Frenes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Burutzagi Cia. The goal made the score 0-5. Burutzagi Cia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Calderero in the 69th minute. A collision led to Alianza lima getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Bernaldo Perlines hit a great ball. Maties Ocio struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Burutzagi Cia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cumi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Sedan during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Omar Sedan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Iztal Soliz's late challenge caught a Cumi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iztal Soliz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Iztal Soliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Velasco Frenes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burutzagi Cia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Telmo Pantojas hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Cumi's Maties Ocio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Burutzagi Cia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cumi booed when Alianza lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Telmo Pantojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Cumi left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alianza lima.
