Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rufio Mezquita took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th match minute, Lanche was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oier Jacome to maneuver through the defense. Nelio Viniambres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Brieba in the 8th minute of play. Nelio Viniambres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Badiola in the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lanche's zone, Abelardo Brieba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelio Viniambres came out of the goal and Abelardo Brieba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 20 in the game by Generosb Labastida from a close distance when the talented Ludomir Opat managed to make a qualified save. Juan Aurich's players were relieved. Arnulfo Peñuelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Juan Aurich getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Quin Esteve hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juan Aurich's zone, Generosb Labastida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomir Opat came out of the goal and Generosb Labastida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnulfo Peñuelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Peñuelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelio Viniambres having to interfere. Matia Pellicer's late challenge caught a Juan Aurich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matia Pellicer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Juan Aurich booed when Lanche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matia Pellicer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frechoso Oger's late challenge caught a Lanche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frechoso Oger helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lanche booed when Juan Aurich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frechoso Oger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zabal Moyano during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 45 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Lanche's Generosb Labastida fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abelardo Brieba to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arnulfo Peñuelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Honesto Ares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Peñuelas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Nelio Viniambres skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th minute, Abelardo Brieba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Lanche's goalkeeper Nelio Viniambres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Peñuelas. Nelio Viniambres made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Arnulfo Peñuelas sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Abelardo Brieba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lanche's Nelio Viniambres. Nelio Viniambres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rufio Mezquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomir Opat having to interfere. Zabal Moyano hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Jonas Tortoles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ludomir Opat. Juan Aurich's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Generosb Labastida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Juan Aurich could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lanche throughout the match.
