In the 8thth minute of the game Tiso Ocio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Onono FC's Hitzeder Salvadores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karlo Cotillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hitzeder Salvadores having to make a save. 15 minutes into the match, Onono FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiso Ocio came free, but Hitzeder Salvadores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Karlo Cotillo made a precise shot to the right of Hitzeder Salvadores. Onono FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Eder Ciaño's late challenge caught a Onono FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eder Ciaño helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Onono FC booed when Alianza Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eder Ciaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lore Olazarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dodorol Toledano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lore Olazarra ran back to his position shaking his head. Hitzeder Salvadores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiso Ocio, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Fidele Greña's late challenge caught a Onono FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidele Greña helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Alianza Lima's zone, Lore Olazarra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dodorol Toledano came out of the goal and Lore Olazarra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiso Ocio made a kick off. Genaro Manaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dodorol Toledano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dodorol Toledano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Manaut in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Alianza Lima's Karlo Cotillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hitzeder Salvadores was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute of the match Iaki Jaurigui shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dodorol Toledano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Onono FC defense, Karlo Cotillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hitzeder Salvadores. The Onono FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hitzeder Salvadores should have stopped the shot. Hitzeder Salvadores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiso Ocio's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After a rather tough play, Onono FC's Genaro Manaut got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Hitzeder Salvadores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiso Ocio in the 81st minute of the match. Iyan Fontecavada struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Dodorol Toledano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onono FC. Dodorol Toledano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Manaut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alianza Lima had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
