Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lano Lavalle started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. SportsLyons's Birger Engelborgh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tallia Gundin in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Tallia Gundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. DM Athletic's supporters rose to their feet, but Tallia Gundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Engelborgh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arano Beite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arano Beite during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DM Athletic's Arano Beite got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Efrain Sarria got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiago Arenillas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Lano Lavalle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiago Arenillas. Lano Lavalle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Arano Beite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birger Engelborgh having to interfere. Tiago Arenillas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Efrain Sarria in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arano Beite in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Engelborgh saved SportsLyons from getting behind. DM Athletic's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Placido Fallabes 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. In the 36th minute Arano Beite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Engelborgh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Tallia Gundin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DM Athletic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SportsLyons the free kick. Tallia Gundin kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When SportsLyons's Lano Lavalle in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DM Athletic's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the match, Arano Beite notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SportsLyons's Birger Engelborgh. Birger Engelborgh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tallia Gundin was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Fallabes in the 52nd minute of play forced DM Athletic's goalkeeper Tiago Arenillas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Sarria blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago Arenillas having to make a save. Efrain Sarria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tiago Arenillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Efrain Sarria scored 4-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Arenillas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, DM Athletic's Maore Ochari got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute Efrain Sarria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Arenillas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Arenillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lano Lavalle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SportsLyons's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
