Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guillermo Ribera started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Jago Escuza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herptal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jago Escuza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cordero Gomara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Ribera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Modestio Gilaverts short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Tolino Gorostarzu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guillermo Ribera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Herptal FC's Jago Escuza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cordero Gomara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Herptal FC's Jago Escuza got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Janpier Hermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolino Gorostarzu having to interfere. Graham Püttmann kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Guillermo Ribera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herptal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Graham Püttmann charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Graham Püttmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th match minute, Macheteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graham Püttmann to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Modestio Gilavert made the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Ribera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cordero Gomara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Modestio Gilavert came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Macheteros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modestio Gilavert couldn't finish the play. Quinito Balza hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Modestio Gilavert notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Herptal FC's Tolino Gorostarzu. Tolino Gorostarzu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Macheteros getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Germano Folguera hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes Herptal FC got a freekick which was hit by Lorencio Pena. Tolino Gorostarzu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Modestio Gilavert in the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Herptal FC's Lorencio Pena got a free kick in the 78th minute. Janpier Hermo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolino Gorostarzu. Tolino Gorostarzu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Guillermo Ribera might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cordero Gomara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guillermo Ribera ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 89 minutes, Janpier Hermo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macheteros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janpier Hermo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Modestio Gilavert made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Herptal FC's Tolino Gorostarzu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Herptal FC's zone, Modestio Gilavert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolino Gorostarzu came out of the goal and Modestio Gilavert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Herptal FC's Guillermo Ribera in the 99th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Cordero Gomara was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Macheteros through an amazing save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Macheteros fans cheered their team off the field, for while Herptal FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
