Zarbonin Riesco made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Josepe Gamiz immediately put the ball in play. In the 20thth minute of the game Luis Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL GARCILASO's Tajo Zayas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. REAL GARCILASO's Tajo Zayas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tomasini in the 45th minute of play. Tajo Zayas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 47 minutes into the match, REAL GARCILASO's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Escobar came free, but Tajo Zayas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

Alfredo Tomasini struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Tajo Zayas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ALIANZA 1901. 53 minutes into the match, Alfredo Tomasini notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of REAL GARCILASO's Tajo Zayas. Tajo Zayas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in REAL GARCILASO's zone, Luis Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tajo Zayas came out of the goal and Luis Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-9 became the score in the 70th minute when Alfredo Tomasini elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Alfredo Tomasini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Escobar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Tajo Zayas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After taking down the ball on ALIANZA 1901's corner Josepe Gamiz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tajo Zayas quite easily take care of the ball. REAL GARCILASO's Tajo Zayas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Tomasini in the 77th minute of play. Toro Botana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Liceaga hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Luis Escobar had several of the REAL GARCILASO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 82 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-10 score and a disappointed Tajo Zayas as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 85th minute, Alfredo Tomasini left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. The crowd rose to their feet as Alfredo Tomasini kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tajo Zayas. That made the score 1-12 in the 89 minute of play. When the match was over ALIANZA 1901 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than REAL GARCILASO throughout the match.
