Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelio Omero started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Santotis in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Quexada saved EBK from getting behind. A collision led to Sporting Chilcano getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Armando Santotis hit a great ball. Cornelio Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute of the match, Flavio Colon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lizardi Montanez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 21 minutes into the match, EBK's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Santotis came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Colon in the 25th minute of play forced Sporting Chilcano's goalkeeper Lizardi Montanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Armando Santotis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marcelo Quexada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lizardi Montanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusko Zubicoeta in the 30th minute of play. If Gilesindo Pastrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the EBK defense, Armando Santotis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Quexada. The EBK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Quexada should have stopped the shot. EBK's Marcelo Quexada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Santotis in the 42nd minute of play. After 44 played minutes Sporting Chilcano got a freekick which was hit by Asier Abello. After 45 played minutes EBK got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Omero.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Santotis in the 51st minute of play forced EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Chilcano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Heli Monsalve in the 58th minute. When Sporting Chilcano's Armando Santotis in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EBK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 68th minute, Betinho Carvalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sporting Chilcano made a substitution. Baiarte Cerdeira replaced Asier Abello. Sporting Chilcano's Vladimiro Veguri was substituted for Kevin Justo. Heli Monsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Quexada having to interfere. Marcelo Quexada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Santotis's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Armando Santotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cornelio Omero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard and well directed shot from Heli Monsalve led 86 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. EBK's Marcelo Quexada became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-4. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind EBK's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Betinho Carvalho's late challenge caught a Sporting Chilcano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betinho Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute Armando Santotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sporting Chilcano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
