The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Giralte in the 3rd minute of play forced RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Lobado in the 5th minute of play forced Balkes FC's goalkeeper Matthy Sommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Zoil Giralte got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo da Rocha in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthy Sommers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Itzaina Lecubarri made a great header on RAMBO FC's corner, it was just that Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers managed to reach the ball for a save. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoil Giralte in the 14th minute of play. Evaristo da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Matthy Sommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Balkes FC got a freekick which was hit by Zoil Giralte. After a rather tough play, Balkes FC's Dündar Tura got a free kick in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers got control of the ball when Godfried Van de cauter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evaristo da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Matthy Sommers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoil Giralte in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Evaristo da Rocha lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Matthy Sommers. With a little luck, Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers got control of the ball when Evaristo da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute RAMBO FC were awarded a corner. Itzaina Lecubarri went to the cornerflag to take it. After 34 played minutes RAMBO FC got a freekick which was hit by Godfried Van de cauter. With a little luck, Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers got control of the ball when Evaristo da Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Balkes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Pizarro to maneuver through the defense. Calle Lindström charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Lindström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Balkes FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Calle Lindström hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo da Rocha to make the kick off. RAMBO FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Itzaina Lecubarri in the 54th minute. After taking down the ball on RAMBO FC's corner Itzaina Lecubarri fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matthy Sommers quite easily take care of the ball. 55 minutes into the match, RAMBO FC's goalkeeper Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Pizarro. Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoil Giralte, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Evaristo da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Evaristo da Rocha sped through Balkes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Matthy Sommers. The RAMBO FC fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when RAMBO FC's Evaristo da Rocha looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 85 minutes of play, RAMBO FC's Evaristo da Rocha made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthy Sommers was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Balkes FC's Oscar-Alfredo Ibanez threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Katia Ariza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Matthy Sommers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo da Rocha in the 92nd minute of play. If Katia Ariza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Evaristo da Rocha notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Balkes FC's Matthy Sommers. Matthy Sommers was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
