Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mario Castillero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd play minute Humberto Urane came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hector Brandao. 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match Julio Herrera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Zambrano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Elias Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Río Duque F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mario Treviño fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Río Duque F.C.'s protests and gave Mario Treviño a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Río Duque F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Hector Navarro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Elias Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Río Duque F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Elias Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Río Duque F.C.'s Mario Castillero got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, one of Santa Rita Arriba:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santa Rita Arriba. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Río Duque F.C.. Julio Herrera stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Zambrano. 1-1. Elias Peralta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Zambrano having to interfere. If Mario Castillero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Castillero in the 34th minute of play forced Santa Rita Arriba's goalkeeper Jorge Zambrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Peralta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Peralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Castillero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Zambrano having to interfere.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Río Duque F.C.'s Mario Castillero in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Santa Rita Arriba's goalie prevented a goal. In the 54th match minute, Río Duque F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Peralta to maneuver through the defense. Hector Brandao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Urane went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Santa Rita Arriba booed when Río Duque F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Treviño didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Peralta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Jorge Zambrano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Humberto Urane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hector Brandao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Río Duque F.C.'s Mario Castillero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Mario Castillero was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Elias Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jorge Zambrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Santa Rita Arriba getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Andres Rios hit a great ball. Santa Rita Arriba's Jorge Zambrano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Castillero in the 74th minute of play. Julio Herrera's late challenge caught a Santa Rita Arriba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Herrera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Río Duque F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Herrera to maneuver through the defense. When Mario Castillero came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Río Duque F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Castillero couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Río Duque F.C. booed when Santa Rita Arriba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Torrijos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mario Castillero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Elias Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Río Duque F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Peralta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Santa Rita Arriba's Nicolás Nuñez got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute of the match, Mario Castillero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Zambrano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
