Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Milton Muñoz made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Blas's goalkeeper Felipe Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, San Blas's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Garcia came free, but Felipe Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match Alexis Caballero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Zambrano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Milton Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jorge Zambrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heraclides Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Zambrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heraclides Smith in the 23rd minute of the match. Jorge Zambrano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milton Muñoz's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Santa Rita Arriba's Nicolás Nuñez got a free kick in the 27th minute. Jorge Zambrano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heraclides Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heraclides Smith in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Zambrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Milton Muñoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Zambrano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Milton Muñoz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Zambrano was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Milton Muñoz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Zambrano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Milton Muñoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Zambrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heraclides Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Zambrano having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. Milton Muñoz struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Jorge Zambrano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Blas. Jorge Zambrano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heraclides Smith, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Milton Muñoz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorge Zambrano, 1-1. The long shot by Alexis Caballero in the 64th minute really tested Jorge Zambrano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 68th match minute, Santa Rita Arriba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramón Torrijos to maneuver through the defense. San Blas's Heraclides Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Milton Muñoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd match minute, San Blas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Lao to maneuver through the defense. Santa Rita Arriba's Juan Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Zambrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milton Muñoz in the 89th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Caballero during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felipe Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Garcia in the 98th minute of the match. Santa Rita Arriba's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
