Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ricardo Batista got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Oliver Bierhoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Mendieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Killer of Reds S.C.'s Ricardo Batista in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaqué F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Cesar Mendieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Batista in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Batista in the 10th minute of play forced Jaqué F.C.'s goalkeeper Cesar Mendieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucho Mota's late challenge caught a Jaqué F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucho Mota helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Killer of Reds S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Lucho Mota. Javier Smith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Max Oberto's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Cesar Mendieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Ortiz during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Jaqué F.C. getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Fernando Ortiz hit a great ball. Oliver Bierhoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Mendieta having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Oberto in the 36th minute of play forced Killer of Reds S.C.'s goalkeeper Javier Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes, Victor Bultrón mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Killer of Reds S.C. and the Jaqué F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Bultrón kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Max Oberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killer of Reds S.C.'s Javier Smith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oliver Bierhoff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cesar Mendieta having to make a save. After some careless play in the Jaqué F.C. defense, Ricardo Batista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesar Mendieta. The Jaqué F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesar Mendieta should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Max Oberto made a kick off. Ricardo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killer of Reds S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Mendieta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jaqué F.C.'s Cesar Mendieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Batista in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jaqué F.C.'s zone, Oliver Bierhoff stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Mendieta came out of the goal and Oliver Bierhoff tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Mendieta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Oliver Bierhoff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70thth minute of the game Ricardo Batista who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaqué F.C.'s Cesar Mendieta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Killer of Reds S.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lucho Mota hit a great ball. If Ricardo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Peren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Mendieta made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. Javier Smith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Oberto in the 91st minute of play. Oliver Bierhoff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cesar Mendieta made a huge save. Javier Smith came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Jaqué F.C.'s Max Oberto. But to his dismay, Max Oberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jaqué F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Killer of Reds S.C. had controlled the match.
