Edgardo Villalaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Herbruger, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cheito Corral hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolás Navarro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Quiros. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gariché F.C.'s goalkeeper Edgardo Villalaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antonio Herbruger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the game, Gariché F.C.'s Alexander Gomez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Quiros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gabriel Cedeño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Felix Quiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moisés Sánchez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ramón Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Edgardo Villalaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramón Gonzalez to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Ramón Gonzalez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gariché F.C.'s Edgardo Villalaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Gomez scored 3-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Quiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Américo Calderón charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Américo Calderón the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Finca Blanco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Calderón to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Cedeño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Quiros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Finca Blanco F.C.'s zone, Alexander Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Quiros came out of the goal and Alexander Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gariché F.C.'s Gabriel Cedeño got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alexis Corral fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gariché F.C.'s protests and gave Alexis Corral a yellow card for diving instead. Finca Blanco F.C.'s Felix Quiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Cedeño in the 78th minute of play. Jonathan Oberto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Antonio Herbruger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Finca Blanco F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gariché F.C..
