Matias Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matias Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Pinilla 's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Humberto Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Nuñez having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in David F.C.'s zone, Mario Pinilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Paredes came out of the goal and Mario Pinilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Gómez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Pinilla in the 40th minute of play. Matias Paredes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Pinilla 's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Raul Gómez came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Llano Marín F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Gómez couldn't finish the play. If Raul Gómez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Gómez to make the kick off. Llano Marín F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Gómez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Antonio Ramírez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jaime Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Antonio Ramírez managed to get in a good position for a shot. David F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Ramírez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in David F.C.'s zone, Raul Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Paredes came out of the goal and Raul Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to David F.C. getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Javier Vergara hit a great ball. Matias Paredes was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Raul Gómez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Raul Gómez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Mario Pinilla charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Pinilla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Llano Marín F.C.'s Mario Pinilla got a free kick in the 85th minute. The David F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
