Franklin Mendieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Alfaro having to interfere. Felipe Villalobos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franklin Mendieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Sergio Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Franklin Mendieta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Alfaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Franklin Mendieta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Entradero F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Entradero F.C.'s Franklin Mendieta got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Villalobos in the 26th minute of play. Dolega F.C.'s Sergio Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Mendieta in the 29th minute of play. Sergio Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Villalobos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Alfaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Mendieta in the 35th minute of the match. Orlando Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Martín Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Entradero F.C.'s zone, Orlando Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Nuñez came out of the goal and Orlando Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastián Trejos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Entradero F.C.'s goalkeeper Martín Nuñez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orlando Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martín Nuñez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. When Jorge Ramírez fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entradero F.C.'s protests and gave Jorge Ramírez a yellow card for diving instead. Jorge Ramírez kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Wiliam Arauz made the kick off in the second half. Entradero F.C.'s Felipe Villalobos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sergio Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Villalobos in the 57th minute of play. When Gilberto Benavides fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entradero F.C.'s protests and gave Gilberto Benavides a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Benavides hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 63 played minutes Entradero F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Ramírez. After 67 minutes of play, Dolega F.C.'s Wiliam Arauz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martín Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute Wiliam Arauz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martín Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
