Enrique Corral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín Nuñez having to interfere. When Leonidas Murillo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entradero F.C.'s protests and gave Leonidas Murillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Leonidas Murillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enrique Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martín Nuñez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Corral's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Martín Ramírez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín Nuñez having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Entradero F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Martín Ramírez came free, but Martín Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Mendieta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Martín De Leon having to make a save. Los Pollos F.C.'s Martín De Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Villalobos in the 29th minute of play. Franklin Mendieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín De Leon having to interfere. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Pollos F.C.. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Villalobos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Enrique Corral notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Entradero F.C.'s Martín Nuñez. Martín Nuñez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee gave Entradero F.C. a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilberto Rios, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Pollos F.C.'s Martín De Leon. 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Franklin Mendieta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Entradero F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Mendieta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 95thth minute of the game Martín Ramírez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Entradero F.C.'s Martín Nuñez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Entradero F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Los Pollos F.C. for a fine match.
