If Raul Zambrano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heraclides Henriguez in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Vergara saved Plaza De Caisán from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Gabriel Vergara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilfredo Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute Raul Zambrano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Zambrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Wilfredo Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Francesco Ramirez fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lídice F.C.'s protests and gave Francesco Ramirez a yellow card for diving instead. 36 minutes into the match, Lídice F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Raul Zambrano came free, but Wilfredo Nuñez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfredo Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Quintero in the 41st minute of the match. Lídice F.C.'s Wilfredo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Zambrano in the 43rd minute of play. Raul Zambrano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andres Trejos hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Alex Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lídice F.C.'s Wilfredo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Quintero in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Lídice F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luchito Lao. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Zambrano got free with Wilfredo Nuñez in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alex Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Wilfredo Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
