Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Heraclides Henriguez got the match started through his kick off. Lídice F.C.'s Wilfredo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Escobar in the 3rd minute of play. Martín Quirós struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Wilfredo Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mañanitas. In the 6th match minute, Lídice F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Quirós to maneuver through the defense. Martín Quirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Nuñez having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Lídice F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Enrique Escobar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute Martín Quirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Lídice F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Ramirez. Enrique Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Nuñez having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Enrique Escobar could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Wilfredo Nuñez however easily saved by the left post. Francesco Peren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 minutes of play, Mañanitas's Enrique Escobar made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Nuñez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Martín Quirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Nuñez was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Lídice F.C.'s goalkeeper Wilfredo Nuñez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Escobar. Enrique Escobar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Nuñez having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Francesco Peren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Andrés Centella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heraclides Henriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrés Centella came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Lídice F.C.'s Francesco Peren. But to his dismay, Francesco Peren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heraclides Henriguez in the 60th minute of play forced Mañanitas's goalkeeper Andrés Centella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Heraclides Henriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Andrés Centella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enrique Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Luchito Lao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Martín Quirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrés Centella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heraclides Henriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. When Enrique Escobar came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Mañanitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Escobar couldn't finish the play. Martín Quirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Nuñez having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Martín Quirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mañanitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Quirós was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
