Gilberto Corral started the match with the kick off. Lídice F.C.'s Wilfredo Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lídice F.C. from getting a goal against them. When Gilberto Corral came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Mamitipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Corral couldn't finish the play. Totin Mendozas short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Wilfredo Nuñez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 27 minutes into the match, Mamitipo's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Peren came free, but Tomaso Benavides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Totin Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luchito Zapata's late challenge caught a Mamitipo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luchito Zapata helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mamitipo booed when Lídice F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luchito Zapata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilfredo Nuñez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilberto Corral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 48 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heraclides Henriguez was the one to do the kick off. Mamitipo's Gilberto Corral got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Gilberto Corral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfredo Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Totin Mendoza went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Heraclides Henriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Wilfredo Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mamitipo had played much better football throughout.
