After a rather tough play, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Alejandro Tello got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 13th match minute, Nuevo San Juan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Tello to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Henríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Nuevo San Juan F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Paredes. 20 minutes into the match, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Pablo Garcia De Paredes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Corral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alejandro Tello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Alejandro Tello sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Corral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Tello in the 30th minute of play forced Capetí F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Corral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Nuevo San Juan F.C. booed when Capetí F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Agurto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Corral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emiliano Chavez in the 35th minute. When Alejandro Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capetí F.C.'s protests and gave Alejandro Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 35th minute, Alejandro Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Capetí F.C.'s Sergio Henríguez got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Tello in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Corral saved Capetí F.C. from getting behind. In the 44th minute Orlando Paredes suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 45th match minute, Capetí F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Escalona to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Reggie Arias tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Chavez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Pablo Garcia De Paredes got a free kick in the 58th minute. Totín Ríos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Bermudez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Nuevo San Juan F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Tello to maneuver through the defense. Capetí F.C.'s Toto Sobenis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 67 minutes in the game, fortunately Gabriel Bermudez had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Toto Sobenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reggie Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Gabriel Bermudez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toto Sobenis in the 76th minute. Ricardo Corral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Chavez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capetí F.C.'s goalkeeper Ricardo Corral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Capetí F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Gilberto Diaz hit a great ball. Toto Sobenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Bermudez having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
