Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcos Gómez started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Morales in the 2nd minute of play forced Isla Caña F.C.'s goalkeeper Sergio Peren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Totin Castillero could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Rigoberto Muñoz however easily saved by the left post. Sergio Peren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Dely in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Isla Caña F.C.'s zone, Emanuel Morales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergio Peren came out of the goal and Emanuel Morales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Bultrón hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Isla Caña F.C.'s Marcos Gómez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rigoberto Muñoz. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. Eduardo Sánchez scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Peren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Emanuel Morales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Alejandro De Diego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Totin Castillero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Muñoz having to interfere. When Elias Mora fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Mata's protests and gave Elias Mora a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Elias Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emanuel Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcos Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Muñoz having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Emanuel Morales made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Azael Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mata and the Isla Caña F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Azael Fernandez hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Marcos Gómez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Muñoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Peren came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by La Mata's David Dely. But to his dismay, David Dely quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Totin Castillero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Marcos Gómez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rigoberto Muñoz. La Mata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Gómez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 82nd minute, Eduardo Sánchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Gómez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Rigoberto Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Isla Caña F.C.'s goalkeeper Sergio Peren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Dely. Totin Castillero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Romel Mendoza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the game, David Dely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Sergio Peren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
